One of Germany’s Top Innovators
Mohammad Kabany at the Bavarian Semiconductor Congress
Under the motto „together creating a semiconductor ecosystem in Bavaria” leading experts of science, politics, and business met on June 27th in Munich upon invitation of Minister of Economy Hubert Aiwanger, at the Bavarian Semiconductor Congress.
Organized by the think tank Bayern Innovativ GmbH, the challenges of the current supply constraints were discussed, as well as ideas for solutions on resilient supply chains and technological independence.
As participant of the panel discussion with experts from Fraunhofer Institute, Ministry of Economy, and automotive industry, B-Horizon CEO Mohammad Kabany said: “A particular challenge is the increasing race for being the first to place innovative solutions in the market. Here we are competing against companies from Silicon Valley as well as from Asia.” In the vivid and constructive discussion, he added: “There is no magic formula for the way out of the chip crisis. It needs a combination of different activities that reduces our dependency from globalized development and worldwide supply chains.”
The findings of the congress are being integrated into the initiatives of the Bavarian Chips Alliance. Being experts for microelectronics, we look forward to continually make our know-how available.
