Various Fields of Application
As an all-new smart sensor system, B-Neo can measure multiple parameters simultaneously, in different application areas as car seats, sportswear and shoes, haptic gaming suits, diapers, and mattresses.
The data captured by the sensors are being processed with support of artificial intelligence (AI) and made available to the user in pre-processed and conditioned format. The advantages are manifold: the integration in the car seat for instance will enable a new generation of innovative, high-resolution passenger recognition, which is, along with the reliable passenger monitoring, essentially required for the future automated driving as of level 3. The further development and expansion of safety and comfort functions in the car interior will benefit from B-Neo as well.
Used in sports and gaming applications, the user receives directly real-time analyses and recommendations that enable him to rate and optimize his activities. Integrated in the mattress in a smart home, B-Neo provides a sleep analysis on the smart phone in the morning.
Also, in medicine and health care, specific applications can be foreseen, to support the needs of the respective therapy, e.g. in the areas of post-surgery treatments, in medical devices as bandages and orthoses. B-Neo integrated in the mattresses in a medical facility, the system can send information on the patient’s health status or movements to the nursing staff.
