Your Responsibilities
- Concept and feasibility analysis as well as specification definition of hardware components of the system in corporation with customers & project stakeholders
- Responsible for hardware schematic and layout incl. electrical and thermal simulations as well as FMEA and worst case analysis
- Development of hardware test concept and test plans as well as implementation of tests in the lab
- Creation and review of process related documentation
- Collaboration with suppliers & internal departments during the whole development process
Your Previous Experiences
- Degree in electrical engineering with a focus on electronic / microelectronic or degree in a similar field of study
- 5+ years of professional experience in electronic digital and analogue circuitry
- Profound experiences in electronic and hardware development (FPGA, Altium Designer)
- Expertise in low-power design as well as energy harvesting
- Expertise with standard communications interfaces (USB, Bluetooth, WiFi, Ethernet)
- Know-how in programming (e.g. Python, Tcl, Matlab, C++)
- Practical experience with test methods such as software-, processor-, hardware-in-the-loop as well as experience in measurement technology (GHz range) favorable
- Collaborative skills, initiative, flexibility, solution oriented and independent work approach
- Good speaking and writing skills in German and English
